Bollywood actor Govinda has finally addressed the persistent rumours surrounding his marriage with wife Sunita Ahuja, putting an end to months of speculation about a possible divorce.

Speaking to ANI, Govinda said he chose to speak out now because remaining silent was being interpreted as weakness and was allowing misleading narratives to grow. The actor revealed that repeated assumptions about his personal life compelled him to clarify his position publicly.

Govinda suggested that there has been a “big conspiracy” at play, claiming that certain people close to him are being influenced or “used” without fully understanding the situation. He also pointed to internal miscommunication within the family as a contributing factor that was blown out of proportion.

According to the actor, his decision to break silence was not driven by publicity but by the need to correct false impressions being created around him and his marriage. He maintained that unnecessary speculation had painted a “problematic” image of him, which he felt needed to be addressed directly.

Despite the rumours, Govinda did not confirm any separation and stressed that assumptions circulating online do not reflect the complete truth.
