Smriti Mandhana–Palash Muchhal Wedding Controversy: Childhood Friend Makes Serious Allegations

Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s reported wedding with musician Palash Muchhal, which was expected to take place in November 2025, was suddenly called off, sparking widespread speculation. Months after the cancellation, new controversy has emerged following claims made by Mandhana’s childhood friend, Vidnyan Mane.

Mane, who claims to have been present during the wedding-related events, has alleged that Palash Muchhal was caught with another woman during the celebrations, leading to the wedding being cancelled. According to Mane, the incident created chaos and emotional distress for those present. These claims are allegations and have not been independently verified.

In addition to the personal allegations, Mane has also accused Palash Muchhal and his family of financial misconduct. He claims that he invested over ₹40 lakh in a film project linked to the Muchhal family and was later pressured to invest more money under threat of being removed from the project. Mane stated that he has filed a formal complaint in Sangli regarding the matter.

He further alleged that several artistes associated with the project were not paid their dues and claimed that communication with the family ceased after the wedding was called off. Mane has stated that he possesses chat records and call logs, which he is prepared to share with authorities and the media.

As of now, there has been no official response from Palash Muchhal or his family regarding these allegations.
