At the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), India delivered a strong rebuttal to Pakistan’s representations on Jammu & Kashmir. First Secretary Anupama Singh led the response, rejecting Pakistan’s claims and labelling them as propaganda.
The Indian delegation underscored that Pakistan’s actions and narratives are driven by envy and lack substantive evidence. It also reaffirmed India’s commitment to peace, security, and human rights in the region.
International diplomats noted the firmness of India’s position, suggesting it could influence future multilateral discussions on regional territorial issues.
